BA- Architecture

My time at university helped me to cultivate my own style, building on the more traditional foundations I had learnt in lower education.

Studying architecture gave me a great appreciation for the way our environment affects us all in our daily lives, from the ways we decide to travel to work or even to how we begin to make our own spaces within the community. Architecture is what binds us together in our modern world.

I came out of Uni confused to why many modern practices don't focus on the impacts that their designs have on the land they are on, and the communities around them. I see this majorly from the work I have been exposed to since graduating.

I personally believe that good architecture/design not only caters to us humans but serves the natural ecosystem simultaneously, as we are a part of that same ecosystem. In many cases, any design intentions that support our fuzzy friends are merely a way to pass through planning, not for the love and care of our world.
